The Pikes Peak Region continues to see both light rain and snow, even a mix in some places so far in the early afternoon hours. Eventually this afternoon, the rain will change all into snow for the Pikes Peak region, while areas to the south and east start picking up on rain. By the overnight hours, all will be in the snow category. This looks to end by the early morning hours on Sunday. Hundreds of people have been lining up for State Fair concert tickets, even though the event is nearly three months away.
People started gathering at the Colorado State Fair grounds in Pueblo at about 5:00 Saturday morning, five hours before the box office opened. And even after tickets went on sale, about 200 people were still waiting in line around noon.
This year's lineup includes Three Doors Down, Julio Iglesias, Tom Jones, Rascal Flatts, Chicago and Weird Al Yankovic.
The Fair will run from August 16 to 31.
