FYI: Adderall is a sympathomimetic drug--which means that it mimics the body's own delivery of adrenaline (energy plus!) and dopamine (feel good plus!). In a person with true ADHD, the drug actually counteracts the hyperactivity, but for a person without ADHD, it provides a "high". If the students ingested the drug, the staff probably had a bunch of bouncing off the wall, giddy kids on their hands, but unless there was an OD, that would be about it. Still, hats off to the alert staff at the school. They acted wisely in covering all the bases. They deserve credit for their quick action. See...educators are not ALL bad. Smile.
