UCCS Arrest

Authorities have arrested an employee of the University of Colorado , Colorado Springs for allegedly selling items online and not delivering.

Twenty seven year old Robert Gardner, an assistant housing director at UCCS, allegedly sold $27,000 worth of collector sports cards on the internet, and never actually delivered the items.

He is now charged with felony theft and computer crimes.

Gardner is also accused of using the University's internet computer lines to complete the transactions.

The charges involve four victims from Virginia, Oregon, New Jersey and Hawaii. But, the District Attorney's Office believes there are probably more victims out there.

The D.A.'s Office is asking anyone who dealt with Mr. Gardner, but didn't receive their merchandise to contact them at (719) 520-6000.
