Another Colorado soldier killed in the war in Iraq is being honored today.
Friends and family gathered at St. John's Cathedral in Denver to remember, Army Captain Russel Rippetoe.

Captain Rippetoe died in a suicide blast in Iraq one month ago Saturday. Originally from Arvada, Rippetoe was a member of the 75th Army Ranger Regiment out of Fort Benning, Georgia.

He was 27 years old when he was killed.

Captain Rippetoe was buried last month at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
