Sixty one TSA workers the the Colorado Springs Airport will either lose their jobs or be transferred to another airport.

Airport officials just found out about the cuts today, and aren't sure how quickly workers will be notified, but a total of 6 thousand workers nationwide will lose their jobs by the end of September.

Right now, a total of 153 TSA workers are employed at the Springs airport. The cuts will drop that number to 92.

Airport officials say they're concerned about the cuts, but aren't sure yet how much of an impact it will have on travellers.
