Sixteen F-16 pilots aircraft have put on quite a show for friends and family members gathered at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora.

Hundreds of people are gathered at the base to welcome home the members of the Colorado Air National Guard's 120th Fighter Squadron.

The jets began arriving at the base around noon Wednesday.

The unit has been operating overseas at a secure location for the past two months and took part in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Gov. Owens thanked the families for their sacrifices while the guard members were serving their country.
