Crews are battling a wildfire that's threatening homes and wineries in California's Napa Valley.

The blaze has scorched about 300 acres in the rugged hills near the wine country town of St. Helena.
It's about 40-percent contained, with full containment expected Sunday.

A CalFire spokeswoman says more than 1,500 firefighters are working to knock down the blaze, which has destroyed at least two structures and threatens about 200 homes and several wineries.

About 100 residents were evacuated from their homes Friday night.
