A FLASH FLOOD WATCH will go into effect at NOON and last through MIDNIGHT from most of Southern Colorado. Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be more than capable of producing very heavy rain once again. Burn scars and areas that saw heavy rain yesterday will be under the greatest risk for flash flooding. The 11 Breaking Weather Team will be tracking this threat all day for you.
Three people were arrested after a short chase with Colorado State Patrol.
Troopers tell 11 News the driver of an SUV made an illegal turn near 4th St. and Chester in Pueblo. During the chase the driver hit a car in the intersection of 4th and Bradford. Then the driver went into a parking lot where he crashed into a pole.
One person inside the car that was hit was injured and taken to the hospital.
The three people inside the SUV ran from police after it crashed. Two people were quickly caught. The driver ran to a nearby river where troopers had to coax him out before they arrested him.
Troopers did not say what charges the three people will face in relation to the chase, but did say they were also arrested on unrelated charges.
