Air Force Academy Investigation

Investigators are apparently having a hard time tracking down alleged victims of sexual assault at the Air Force Academy. But a spokesman for Colorado Senator Wayne Allard says that's not surprising.

Many cadets claim they weren't taken seriously when they reported the assaults the first time. Air Force investigators say they need to talk to those cadets to determine whether the cases were handled correctly.

Several commanding officers at the Academy are being replaced because of reports of unresolved assault and rape complaints.

Allard spokesman Dick Wadhams says many of the women who've called the senator's office still don't trust Air Force officials.
