Boulder-based White Wave Incorporated now says some potentially contaminated soymilk was distributed in Colorado after all.
The company voluntarily recalled 25,000 cases of Vanilla Silk brand soymilk this week that had been sold nationwide. A cleaning and sanitizing material from a New Jersey co-packer was discovered in some 64-ounce cartons of the product.
White Wave says some Colorado customers did purchase soymilk with the affected code numbers. The recall affects only 64-ounce cartons of Vanilla Silk with the codes ``Jun 17 03'' or ``Jun 18 03'' and either ``H CD-70'' or ``J CD-70.''
No illnesses have been reported in Colorado. Some consumers outside the state complained of becoming nauseous after drinking the soymilk.
