A Greeley lawmaker is trying again to pass a plan to reform the state's no-fault vehicle insurance law. The new plan, by Republican Representative Tabor Williams, would offer consumers a menu of choices allowing them to reject coverage for lost wages and benefits. It would include discounts for low income, rural residents and people over 65.
The Legislature has already rejected two similar measures.
The auto insurance expires July first. Governor Owens says he'll let the courts decide insurance claims if the state's no-fault law runs out with no replacement.
