Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. Highs in the 30s and 40s will feel colder when factoring a blustery northwest wind. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Wounded C-B-S reporter Kimberly Dozier has undergone surgery for a second time since she was injured in a car bombing in Baghdad.
A cameraman and sound-man working with Dozier were killed in the Monday bombing, along with their interpreter. An American soldier in their convoy also was killed. Six other soldiers were hurt.
A C-B-S spokeswoman says doctors were operating on Dozier again early Tuesday. She is listed in critical condition at a U-S military hospital in Baghdad. On Monday, doctors had said they were cautiously optimistic about her prognosis.
Dozier and her crew were working on a story about American troops in Iraq on Memorial Day. C-B-S News says they were embedded with the Fourth Brigade Combat Team, Fourth Infantry Division, and were believed to have been wearing protective gear.
