8-year-old Evan Thompson, who had been missing since Saturday morning, was found at 4:20 Tuesday afternoon, alive and well.
He was taken to St. Thomas More Hospital in Canon City to be checked out by doctors.
The Lakewood boy wandered away from his campsite and a massive manhunt ensued.
Thompson wandered away Saturday morning while camping with his family at a site about 15 miles north of Canon City.
Zak Slutzky is with Western State Mountain Rescue in Gunnison. He says the boy was found less than an hour ago.
About 90 ground searchers, dogs, an airplane and two helicopters combed a 15-square-mile area. One searcher was taken to a nearby hospital today with minor to moderate injuries.
A helicopter with infrared scanners searched for Evan yesterday but turned up no clues.
The boy's family members rode in search vehicles today and used loudspeakers to call for him.
