Anti-Bush Protest

Dozens of fans walked out of a Pearl Jam concert after lead singer Eddie Vedder impaled a mask of President Bush on a microphone stand.

One concertgoer says it looked like Vedder decapitated someone and stuck their head on a stick.

This week's concert in Denver was the band's first since war broke out in Iraq.

Vedder previously used a Bush mask in Australia and Japan to perform the song “Bushleager,” from the band's latest album, “Riot Act.”

The Bush-taunting song includes the lyrics “He's not a leader, he's a Texas leaguer.” The band is scheduled to play in Oklahoma City tonight.

Several fans booed and yelled at Vedder to shut up as he told the crowd he's against the war and Bush.

Vedder later clarified that the band supports the troops.
