Colorado Springs Police have identified the 100 Most Wanted Fugitives. 18 of those fugitives are wanted for sex crimes.
Most of those 18 men are convicted sex offenders who have failed to register.
C.S.P.D. Detective Adam Romine said, "We have to assume that if you've been convicted of a sex offense and you're required to register, and you stop registered, that you don't want to be found."
These men have various backgrounds, offenses ranging from sexual assault to enticement of a child.
Romine added, "Obviously, anytime we have children at risk, it's something that we need to be concerned about."
