A Castle Rock man is facing a felony charge after allegedly having sex with a dog and forcing a 7-year-old boy to watch.

Thirty-year-old Jason Lee McRoberts faces a felony charge of obscenity. He was released from jail yesterday after posting $1,000 bond.

Police say the alleged incident occurred between December 2007 and June 2008 when McRoberts lived in Grand Junction. Authorities say he's since moved to Castle Rock, south of Denver.

An arrest warrant affidavit says the 7-year-old boy's mother told police about the alleged incident.

Mesa County's District Attorney Pete Hautzinger told The Daily Sentinel in Grand Junction that it's not clear whether McRoberts will face any child-abuse counts.

Prosecutors did not immediately return a call to The Associated Press.

No phone number could be found for McRoberts, and he had no attorney listed in court records.

Unfortunately we the people of the United States no longer have the right of innocence until proven guilty nor the right to a fair trail. And we can't trust our own media to report honestly and accurately, On top of that, our DA;'s sell out a person's right for publicity. What a shame. How would all of you feel if you had this article written about you and spread all over the world, especially when it turns out to be false?

Anon, Honestly...Why are you constantly trying to fight people on here?

It seems like Julie and Anonymous are the only two reasonable people here. It's innocent until proven guilty.

Who really knows what happened here. I think that the news should have actual facts before putting stuff like this out there. This is somebodys reputation and if these allegations arent true, thats really messed up. If they are true then this man has some severe mental issues and he needs to be locked up.

"Perhaps, ur upset cuz IT WAS UR DOG!" Real mature response, Julie. Let's worry about this poor kid, seems like he would benefit from a better home in general.

I'm not saying this didn't happen, however shouldn't the media have all the facts before posting people's names?

The Democrats would blame it on global warming

Hey 'Anon' just simply saying that there is more to the story then what is being stated. Perhaps mom who reported it, wasnt too happy with him, and wants to be vindictive for some unknown reason. Who knows what ppl think. Just simply saying KKTV, isnt 100% accurate in reporting all that facts. As if i had to explain myself to u.........Perhaps, ur upset cuz IT WAS UR DOG!

This is to sick to even consider rehabiltation for this demon. He does need to be put out of his misery and prevented from hurting anyone or anything else. This is beyond a bad accusation. Julie are you an enabling relative or friend? How is the dog? How is the boy?

This piece of junk human needs to be put down and out of society. Any judge that allows him to live shouldn't be a judge.

Although, my first thought was to say this man is sick. I have to say there is more to the story...Are they divorced, and mom is bitter? Is this something that is being mad up, while they are divorcing? TONS of unanswered questions!! Lets hope kKTV reports on this with factual information when its available.
