Fifteen-year-old Casey Goodman is a freshman at Air Academy High School in Colorado Springs. When he was 10, his father was deployed to Saudi Arabia, and Goodman says he remembers how hard that was for him.

Now, he's using $200 of his own money, along with some family contributions to put together packages with disposable cameras, stationary, crayons and markers to encourage other kids with parents overseas to keep in touch with them.

So far, Casey has assembled about 70 bags. But, he is hoping to do more.

If you or your business would like to make a donation to support Casey's effort, you can drop off supplies at any Pikes Peak YMCA location.

The bags will be distributed to kids ages 5-10 on April 5, which is Military Appreciation Day. They will be given out at the YMCA on Jet Wing.
