The El Paso County Sheriff's Office confirms there was an armed bank robbery at the People's Bank at 101 Fontaine Blvd.

Officials say the call came in at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Three black males allegedly entered the bank, ordered employees to the ground and demanded cash. Employees say one of the suspects was armed with a semi-automatic weapon.

No customers were inside at the time.

The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspects' faces were covered during the robbery, so employees didn't get a good look at them. However, the suspects were last seen in a dark-colored sedan with no rear license plate.
