Colorado Springs Police respond to a triple stabbing in Southern Colorado Springs just after 7 a.m. Thursday. Inside the Stratton Meadows home police found a 4-year-old boy, 5-year-old girl and an adult man stabbed. Police say they all sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they were called to the scene by a woman who said she was suppose to pick up here children at the home from her estranged husband. Police say the woman wasn’t able to get a hold of anyone in the home at the time.
Police arrived, knocked on the door and didn’t get a response.
“Entry was gained into the residence, where we found several people on the inside of the residence who had sustained knife wounds,” said Lt. Fletcher Howard.
The three people were sent to Memorial Hospital. Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are investigation the incident. No arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon.
