Officer Attacked By Pit Bull At Home Of Wanted Felon

Colorado Springs police confirm an officer has been bitten on the wrist by a pit bull. The officer was acting on a search warrant for a wanted felon at a home on East Rio Grande St.

Another officer ended up shooting the dog.

The injured officer was taken to a nearby hospital. His condition is unknown.

The dog was taken to a veterinarian.

    well isnt that funny the gazette says it was a lab. when r we going to get smart the colorado springs police and the district attorney can do what ever they want when ever they want!! did they catch the guy? no! they didnt even know the guy!!
