By Article III federal jurisdictional codes, Robin Long’s trial initially should have been before a Federal Jury in a Federal District Court and not in a Kangaroo Court-Martial that had no jurisdiction to hear his defense. A terrible Bill of Right violation by the U.S. Government! Argument: The oath to support and defend the Constitution from all enemies in Robin’s Case raises constitutional dimensions that rises under our Constitution and thus by Article III of our Constitution, Robin’s Federal District Court had the only jurisdiction over his Case. Why these fundamentals of LAW are bypassed is a mystery. If Robin’s Case had of gone to his district Federal Court before a Jury, he would have won hands down and now be FREE and the USG would have been embarrassed as the USG should be embarrassed for their continuing trashing of our Constitution. Rob, do you even know WTF you're talking about? The Oath of Enlistment states " to support AND defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign AND domestic. NO where does it state that you can be a dodger or objector because you don't agree with the war. Also, thanks for NOT joining. We don't ned people like you defending our freedom. You might as well be a Reservist = civilian in uniform. In closing the punishment for treason/being absent without leave during a war is death!

Don, you are just plain scum. Personally, I see both sides to this. If you enlist into the army, you better be ready to do what has to be done. There is no backing out. But on the other hand, it does not say when he in fact did join the army. For all you know, he joined up over ten years ago, and had no idea we would be going to war. I do not condone what this gentlemen did, but I feel for him. For all we know, he did not believe in this war, or its cause, so figured the risk of being caught running away is worth more than going to war. Many people felt the same way in Vietnam. He deserves punishment for breaking his contract and promise to the army, but it can't be that severe in my mind. I would not go over there or anywhere to fight if I didn't believe in the cause. That is why I have not joined the military, and I have to give props to anyone that has, had, and will join our armed forces.

What would have happened if all males chose to flee the country to avoid doing there job. As far as this coward's fan club, this is nothing more than a slap in the face to all of the men and women that bravely served for their country. To his supporters; you sit around and enjoy the comforts that the men and women have fought for. How do you sleep at night? You have some nerve!
