Boulder police say they used a Taser on a man after he refused to comply with their orders when they confronted him about rolling around naked on the grass.

Police say Christopher Dornfield is suspected of taking LSD before being spotted naked and screaming in the middle of a street Wednesday night. Police say they used a Taser on Dornfield three times because he was combative and did not follow their orders.

Dornfield was taken to the Boulder Community Hospital and was later released.

Police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley says the Boulder County Drug Task Force is investigating but that Dornfield has not been arrested or a charged with a crime.
