A former chamber of commerce president in La Junta has been charged with making methamphetamines.
Eric Gobin made a court appearance in Otero County and was released.
The 37 year old's family owns a chain of office supply stores.
Police say after an investigation, they found a working meth lab in Gobin's home on February 14th.
Gobin is out of jail on five thousand dollars bond.
