A Denver man died Wednesday from injuries he suffered in a collision with another skier.

Officials say 30-year-old Daniel Morgan was pronounced dead at
Swedish Medical Center in Englewood. He had suffered a fractured
skull and arm, a ruptured artery and internal bleeding when he
skied into a tree after the collision at about noon Tuesday.

Authorities say the other skier was identified as 24-year-old
Andy Schriver of Chicago -- whose condition was not available.

Authorities say Morgan was wearing a helmet when the men
collided where two ski runs merge at Breckenridge ski resort -- and
it appeared it was an accident.
