The suspect in a hit-and-run accident that left a man in critical condition has been arrested.

Nathaniel Lee Mancha, 25, was arrested Friday afternoon at the Comfort Inn near Lake and I-25 in Colorado Springs. Two other people were also arrested accused of helping him hide from police.

Investigators’ search for Mancha stems from a road rage incident on March 1 near Academy Boulevard and Vickers Drive involving Mancha and another driver. The driver of a green Dodge Caravan reportedly got out of his van when the vehicles stopped. Police then think Mancha hit the man with his truck, and drove away from the scene.

The driver of the caravan suffered life-threatening injuries, but is expected to survive.
