With the possibility of a war with Iraq continuing to grow, more and more protests against the war are being held around the world. But today in downtown Colorado Springs there was a march of a different kind. They were marching in support of the troops, not against war.
Many say they support President Bush and stand behind him in this turbulant time. And, they say, their goal is to let the men and women of the military, they are there for them.
The march was a peaceful one. Only a couple police officers were needed, unlike the turbulent anti-war rally in February. These demonstraters say their march had nothing really to do with war, it was just to let the troops know they are loved and supported.
