Fifty one year old Dana West allegedly tried to recruit prison inmates to help him blow up government buildings. He was arrested after one of those inmates told corrections officials.

West allegedly told an undercover agent he wanted to blow up the
Denver City and County Building and others because the government
seized his East Denver home for drugs. West said all he had in the
house were two marijuana plants.

Authorities say West also claimed he was building a new country
that would be established in Mexico and that he would recruit
citizens from the United States.
