An operator at Sprint Telecommunications notified an
administrative assistant at the school about the threats last
Friday. The operator said an Internet customer had written three
separate threats against the school.

The assistant immediately notified the school's resource
officer, school administrators and law enforcement authorities. The
school was not evacuated.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department and F-B-I traced the
threat to a residence in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Authorities there are still investigating the case and haven't
decided whether to file charges.

The teen may be charged with making terroristic threats. A
conviction could carry a penalty of three years behind bars and a
three-thousand dollar fine.
