Once again local companies are stepping up to help out victims of hurricane katrina.
Saddletree Homes and Symphony Homes have come togther to build a house, with all of the profits going to help build more houses in new orleans.
The home is scheduled to be finshed in march and is expected to sell for about 380,000 dollars. They estimate about 250,000 dollars in labor and materials have been donated to the project, and every penny of that will go to victims of hurricane katrina.
The house itself is 3500 square feet and includes four bedrooms, three and a half baths and a three car garage.
Saddletree and Symphony homes are the builders, but they have been helped out by numerous sub contractors to get all of the labor and materials.
An additional thirty five thousand dollars will be raised by paving the sidewalk with 350 individual bricks that can be purchased for one hundred dollars a piece. bricks can be engraved with up to 12 characters.
