250 more Fort Carson soldiers come home Friday night, as the wave of homecomings for the Third Armored Cavalry Regiment continues.
This is just the second of many home comings scheduled for the next several weeks to bring home all 52-hundred members of the 3rd ACR.
The soldiers were given a hero's welcome by friends and family after serving almost a year in iraq.
The 3rd ACR faced combat in areas including Southern baghdad and the Syrian border.
In Iraq the regiment helped protect the Iraqi people while they participated in three national elections.
This was the second deployment for the 3rd ACR.
They left in March of 2005.
