Former Ohio State star and Denver Broncos draft pick Maurice Clarett is being indicted on charges of robbing two people behind a bar and carrying a concealed weapon.
Clarett is accused of flashing a gun and demanding property from a man and a woman early on New Year's Day.
Police in Columbus, Ohio say he got into a sport utility vehicle with two men after being identified by the bar owner -- who'd happened to go out into the alley.
No one was injured, and only a cell phone was taken.
Clarett led Ohio State to the national championship in 2002.
The Broncos cut him last August, and head coach Mike Shanahan conceded he made a mistake by picking Clarett.
