A FLASH FLOOD WATCH will go into effect at NOON and last through MIDNIGHT from most of Southern Colorado. Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be more than capable of producing very heavy rain once again. Burn scars and areas that saw heavy rain yesterday will be under the greatest risk for flash flooding. The 11 Breaking Weather Team will be tracking this threat all day for you.
Because of the water main break at East Middle School earlier this week, students will go to class at Wasson High School for the rest of the week.
Here's what parents need to know. If your kids usually take the bus, they'll be picked up at the normal time, and taken to the high school. And then the bus will bring them back to their bus stops after school.
But if you drive them, or they walk to school, they need to be at East Middle School between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. Busses will pick them up from there, and take them to Wasson. And you'll need to pick them up from east middle school by 4:05 p.m.
