A man suspected of Stabbing a 33-year-old Colorado Springs Man is in custody following a 4 1/2 hour stand off with Police.
Detectives say 35-year-old Raymond Eugene Munoz surrendered to police late Saturday afternoon, after holing up in an apartment complex on the 100 block of East Ramona Avenue. Members of the CSPD Tactical Enforcement Unit made several verbal commands and deployed chemical agents before a police dog coaxed Munoz out peacefully.
Police arrested Munoz in connection with the murder of 33-year-old Ronald Bohnert. Police say Bohnert was stabbed to death Friday night at the house on 805 South 24th Street.
Detectives are still investigating the incident and are looking for a second suspect. If you have any information about this case, you're asked to call Detective Wayne Bichel at (719) 444-7501.
