After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon, though areas in higher elevations could see 1-2". House Bill 1256 would also pay for new academic buildings for
the University of Colorado.
The Capital Development Committee approved the bill on a 5-to-1
vote. It now goes to the full House for debate.
Beulah Representative Lola Spradley says the measure does not
have to get voter approval under the state's tax- and
Spradley says the bill is not a tax increase. She says it just
prioritizes how the state spends revenues.
