A half million baby teethers are being recalled because the liquid in them may be contaminated.

First Years Incorporated says the liquid may contain a bacteria that can cause serious illness in children. It says no illnesses have been reported.

The teethers were sold over the past year in the US and Canada at major retailers, including grocery, drug and specialty stores.

Three of them feature popular cartoon characters from Disney and Sesame Street.
