Colorado health officials are keeping an eye on an outbreak of whooping cough, once the number one killer of infants.
So far 75 cases have been reported in the state. And they say it is making inroads in the adolescent population.
In Garfield County, where 18 cases have been logged, officials are urging parents to get their teenagers vaccinated and they say it wouldn't hurt for adults to get vaccinated either.
Last year there were 14-hundred-16 cases in the state, up 17 percent from the previous year.
