Remember, a Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through 6pm Wednesday, where another day of thunderstorms is possible. The countdown has begun with Super Bowl Sunday just 5 days away. About 10-thousand people will be working security in Detroit. Right here in Colorado Springs, hundreds will be keeping an eye on the Motor City as well. NORAD already keeps an eye on the skies, and although they don't anticipate any kind of attack, they'll be making sure the Super Bowl is safe from any kind of threat. Fighter jets will do random air patrols around Detroit. During the 4 hour game, the rules of the skies will change, Lt. Col. Kevin Booth with NORAD says. "We've set up flight restricted area during Super Bowl."
NORAD is joining local, state and federal agencies in protecting the Motor City. Even though the Super Bowl is still 5 days away, Detroit Police dive teams are scouring the Detroit River, looking for anything suspicious.
