Coroner's officials say the woman who died on an America West flight yesterday lived in Sacramento, California.
The El Paso County coroner's office says it has not yet determined why 45-year-old Stephanie A- Marson died on Flight 29 from Cleveland to Phoenix. The flight made an unscheduled stop in Colorado Springs yesterday after she passed out.
Police reports indicate the woman she was found unconscious in her seat. A cardiologist and an emergency medical technician on board tried to resuscitate her before the plane landed. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say passengers reported seeing the woman take prescription medication before she passed out.
