A judge has fined former Georgetown Mayor Koleen Brooks 100 dollars plus court fees for her conviction on false reporting.

Judicial assistant Gina Fahrenholtz says Brooks paid the fine,
and 150 dollars in compensation, victim assistance and court costs.

She says now the case is closed.

Brooks is the former stripper who became mayor of Georgetown in
1999. She was found guilty January ninth by a jury on one
misdemeanor count of falsely reporting a crime.

Prosecutors said Brooks lied about being attacked.
