Avoiding Heart Disease

Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States and Memorial Hospital is trying to do something about that.

It's called the Women's Heart Advantage Program and it's a nationwide service, created to help eductate women about heart disease. The program is also meant to help women identify the symptoms of this deadly disease before they become major problems

The program also teaches women ways to control risk factors like cholesterol and blood pressure, and how to know if a heart attack may be imminent.
