Authorities say two people, including a 9-year-old boy, were killed and two others were injured in a head-on crash in Eagle.
The Colorado State Patrol says a car crashed into a pickup on Interstate 70 at about 4:15 p.m. Saturday. The boy and the 44-year-old driver of the car were pronounced dead at the scene, and two people in the pickup were injured. Their names and hometowns have not been released.
The Vail Daily reports I-70 was closed for several hours as the State Patrol investigated and cleared the wreck.
