A Denver man is trying to get voters to set up a commission to prepare for space aliens and to raise awareness about their existence. Jeff Peckman believes they exist and he says he has the video to prove it.

11 News got a chance to view that video on Friday, they wouldn't let us film the video because they still aren't sure if it's real and it’s part of a documentary that will be released sometime later this year. But many experts are calling it authentic and one of a kind.

In the video, a figure that looks like an alien is seen peeking in the window, it moves up and down, moves it's head from side to side and it blinks. A man named Stan Romanek claims he shot the video at his home in Nebraska.

"He actually saw out of the corner of his eye. He has two teenage daughters, he thought it was a peeping Tom so he set up a video camera and got this instead," said Dr. Alejandro Rojas.

Rojas is friends with Romanek and is also part of the Mutual UFO Network, an organization that gathers data and investigates UFO sightings.

"Our data shows that there is aircraft out there that has technology beyond human capabilities, the government knows about it but they aren't showing it," Rojas said.

Jeff Peckman says he's never seen a UFO, but when he heard credible testimony from dozens of witnesses and saw Romanek's video, he became a believer.

"Having the video is a visual confirmation, it completed the experience," Peckman said.

He is now pushing for a ballot initiative to create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission in Denver to deal with space aliens. He wants the voters to decide for themselves, was a real alien caught on tape or is it all just a big hoax.

If the initiative gets on the ballot it would only be for Denver residents. Peckman hopes to be able to release the video to the public sometime this year.

I hope the video is released soon. Two of my neighbors have reported seeing a small creature of some sort walking on two legs. One was scared half to death by, "Something in the shed" with her animals. The other was checking the perimeter of his crop field pleading with another neighbor, "Did you see it? Did you see it?", in the middle of the night armed with a flashlight. If it is possible, i'd like to recieve contact from the shooter of the video to relay my neighbors description, and compare any similarities to the one in the video.

Interesting. The nearest possible place the aliens could have come from (assuming we are alone in our cluster of planets/moons) is 4.3 light-years away. And, with our current technology that is close to a 93,000 year trip! I believe there has to be other life out there, but we will never meet them, even if aliens could travel a bit faster than us.

I just wanted to commend the 30 or so people, including my husband and son for fighting the fire in our neighborhood last night. They fought the fire with dirt shovels! People out there have no water rights. It took the Hanover fire department 2 hours to respond. They all risked there lives for us. THANK YOU!!!

The video they talk about is the inferior of 2 that Stan has shot. In THE video they haven't mentioned yet, Stan actually films a small alien standing outside his sliding glass door. I have seen this footage first hand, and it gave me the creeps. The Powers that be behind Stan and his story are waiting to reveal this footage, I believe, to make some big money or something. Trust me, this video will blow your mind.
