Woman Dies Days After Being Discovered Face Down In Pool
Police say Maria Hernandez was visiting friends on Memorial Day at the Hills Apartments at 2550 East Cache La Poudre when she went in the pool alone.

A Colorado Springs woman is dead Thursday, three days after her friends found her unconscious in a swimming pool.

Police say Maria Hernandez was visiting friends on Memorial Day at the Hills Apartments at 2550 East Cache La Poudre when she went in the pool alone.

Her friends found her face down in the pool a short time later.

Officials from Memorial Hospital say the actual cause of death remains under investigation.
