Police discovered what they believe was an active methamphetamine lab in a Colorado Springs apartment Wednesday.

Authorities evacuated two people early Wednesday afternoon from a home at 321 East Brookside.

Crews are on the scene investigating what kind of activities had been taking place inside the apartment and for how long. Authorities say so far ingredients and equipment, that can be used to make meth, have been found.

One suspect has reportedly been detained. There is no word on charges.
