Colorado Springs police say a three-hour stand off ended peacefully Tuesday morning.

Police say they attempted to arrest a man in his apartment complex near Garden of the Gods and Centennial on a federal weapons warrant. When he refused to surrender himself, a three-hour standoff ensued.

The man, whose identification is unknown at this time, finally surrendered peacefully around 10:30 a.m. and was arrested by police.
