Now that the excitement has faded from this year's graduation ceremonies, Colorado's class of 2008 is facing the music and asking themselves: "Now what?"
A reported slowing economy is a concern to many graduates fresh out of their commencements, but experts say, there is no place like El Paso County to get that first job.
According to UCCS Economics professor, Fred Crowley, opportunities are out there.
"The professional, technical areas, engineering, computer science, health care, teachers... these will not have a difficult time getting a job," says Crowley.
Right now the fields with the lowest job growth are in hotel management, construction jobs, and the Liberal Arts.
