Seniors cheered in celebration Monday after graduating from Colorado College.

The ceremony closed Cascade Avenue from from Unitah to Cache La Poudre from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. as nearly 700 graduates accepted their diplomas.

The ceremony marked the 127th commencement at Colorado College.

Former U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Colling was the speaker for the ceremony.
