A wrecked car outside a funeral home is sending a shocking message to high school seniors getting ready for prom.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) with the Springs Funeral Home are sending the message loud and clear: Do not drink and drive. The car is sitting outside the funeral home, west of the Citadel Mall to serve as a stark reminder to the many local prom-goers.

According to MADD, 41percent of car accidents involve alcohol. In Colorado alone, an average of 17 percent of drivers 18 years or older have confessed to driving drunk.
