Two Volunteers Killed In Ordway Fire
The victims were killed when they attempted to drive over a bridge that had been completely burned down by flames.

Two people were killed Tuesday attempting to fight the fire that ravaged the town of Ordway and surrounding areas.

Two Colorado Department of Corrections officers who were acting as volunteer firefighters for the Olney Springs Fire Department were killed when they attempted to drive over a bridge that had been completely burned down by flames.

The victims have been identified as 30-year-old Sergeant Terry DeVore and 38-year-old Officer John Schwartz Junior.
