The fire in April was very scary. School was almost over when the fire started. All my friends were worried about their homes. There was a fire a few minutes ago at this trailer park in Ordway. Everyone's fine.

My heart aches for the people of Crowley County, I grew up in the town of Crowley and the area has a large soft spot in my heart. If there is anything that I can do to help the citizens, please put the articles in The Ordway New Era so that suscribers like I am can assist in the recovery efforts. My God bless and comfort each and every person in Crowley County.

This is a real shame that people have to burn their trash or they think that they have too. Whenever you burn I thought that you had to have a burn permit and need to let the Fire Department know, so they can be on hand in case something like this fire does not get out of control. I have family members on the fire department. It was crazy, the fire was jumping the highways and the roads. It came all thw way into town. There were two dead tree trunks that were, still, on fire by the middle school that is at the end of Main Street yesterday Tuesday April 15.
